How Old Are We?

I was wondering:

Actually how old am I?  How old are everyone else?

Thinking it through, I realise, like everyone and everything else, I was born about 12 billion years ago, with the big-bang, as dust of a star or simply as stellar dust scattered somewhere in this universe. Each and every element or sub-atomic particle that constitute me existed since then, or since around that time,  probably scattered many millions of light years apart from each other.

I existed since then, but mostly without any consciousness, except a tiny, tiny, tiny blink of a time around now.

It must have been a very long, random and boring unconscious journey as my elements travelled through time and finally coalesced into amoebas or some other primitive form of life 100s of million or a billion year ago (who cares about the exact figures in that scale) - it may may have happened on earth or somewhere else?

However, my elements were still scattered between various early forms of life and still did not gain consciousness - then they commenced their long evolutionary journey through my many forms of evolutionary ancestors, to gain a tiny, tiny, tiny blink of consciousness - at a tiny point in time around now, my elements consciously came to exist together as unique me.

This conscious existence will fade away very quickly and my elements will begin their long unconscious journey to be scattered as stellar dust somewhere in this universe, again.

I wonder will there be other cycles of consciousness for me in another 24 billion years or so? - may be possible, but it would be most improbable for my elements to cycle back and come together again, as the 2nd edition of me.

So I have only this one blink of consciousness, one chance to have any conscious impact on the universe.
